MindPool

MindPool is a Mixed Reality (MR) Spatial Mind Mapping and Notetaking App that converts your entire workspace into a canvas to brainstorm ideas and work on them in MR/VR!

• Developed it using XR Interaction Toolkit (XRITK 3.0), implementing a custom input controller to enable functionalities such as creating notes, opening browsers, and drawing connections between nodes using either controllers or hand tracking.
• Designed and implemented dynamic connections that automatically update positions relative to note movements and recursively delete from the scene and JSON data upon user request.
• Built a robust load/save system to store note and connection configurations as JSON files, enabling users to save and retrieve mind maps seamlessly.
• Integrating a speech-to-text system connected to a Large Language Model (LLM), allowing users to generate procedurally created content directly within the VR environment.
